    It was OK but wouldnt return
    The resort setting & beach villa vernacular design. Management did their best to help put things right
    Telephone issues operator problems, room service problems, poorly staffed never answer instantly or on 3rd attempt. Food was very average.

    Wonderful! Hard to beat location, beach and staff. Great food and excellent flexibility towards vegan food offers. Excellent gardens.
    Just a small things to improve (nothing that is critical): add some paint to the mini golf/ ping pong tables. Check carefully the glass water bottles : some of them have tears in the necks sealing surface

    The resort is lovely and the facilities are great! it was a memorable stay indeed.
    The beach is great , the pool deck is lovely and the beach dinner/barbeque was excellent! The staff are friendly and helpful. The senior service coordinator , Prayag at the evening dinner was exceptional. He always looked after us and could do enough for us. The management arranged a very special celebration for us on our anniversary and it was excellent.

    Offers all one would expect from an upscale tourist hotel, incl perfect service with friendly staff, good location, exce
    Charming architecture with detached bungalows, super clean, wonderful greenery, large clean beach with views, staff very helpful and super friendly without exception, perfect service incl good wifi and good food. Makes much better impression than the nearby resorts to the south.
    Pricey taxi when ordering from afar, at times loud music at dinner, but one can escape to the far end of the restaurant.

    I loved everything about la pirogue. The setting is idyllic. The service is excellent and the staff are very friendly and efficient. Food delicious, fresh and well presented
    For South Africans the drinks prices are exhorbitant. Mostly catering for a European market

    Wonderful hotel, beautufully laid iut in hut villages among the palm trees. Best beach, good restaurants, watersports. Big hotel but never feels crowded. Supermarket 10 mins walk.
    Poor service: Check-in very complicated, with 3 different people, and even then they didn't provide much info e.g. we can use the restaurants of the adjoining hotel (we discovered this on our final day). Activities not well communicated: list in reception where you only go when leaving hotel. Check-out very impersonal too: they don't even ask how,was your stay. Some staff don't speak English or,French...even in the bar. ATM is a 35 min walk (reception told us 15 min).

    The location of the property was just perfect. The beach was very clean, accessible to swim and snorkel with lots of water activities for solo, couples families and groups.
    The rooms could have been more convenient like having simple annuities like hair dryer, tooth brush and paste would have been really nice
