    The La Quinta by Wyndham Bakersfield North is a clean and comfortable hotel with a good breakfast and pleasant staff. The only downside is the difficulty finding the hotel from the street. Some guest (Read More)s had issues with non-English speaking maids, but overall, the experience was positive with clean rooms and friendly staff. The pool and whirlpool were enjoyable and the breakfast was standard but good. Overall, guests had a great impression of the hotel.

    The location was great, room was clean
    The pool had so much chlorine in it, it was burning our eyes and causing me to sneeze. The pool water was dirty and the hot tub water was colder than the pool. Sadly we booked specifically for the pool, and it looked nothing like the online photos.

    At first, when you go to the swimming pool, it seems full of pee or algae. Of course, when I asked the receptionist, she said that the color of the pool floor was like this. I think they should change its color to blue.

    They stay was nice.
    The room was nice and clean. I liked that they had coffee or tea in the lobby to grab when you wanted some.
    I think they should have for breakfast sausages and hash browns included with breakfast. And my children were asking me why they didn't have more exercise equipment.

    Veronica at reception was very friendly, welcoming and efficient. The rooms were clean, beds comfy and showers were fine.
    It was in an area that didnt have much around it.

    Quick and convenient location and always a friendly staff.
    Easy freeway access, convenient layover location for our trip. Parking area well lit and safe. Normally when we arrive its earlier than check in time, but folks at the front desk always try to accommodate us with early check in.
    It would be nice to have a nice restaurant close by, but we know thats out of your control.

    Would stay again, but not on a holiday.
    Super clean, convenient to the freeway, lots of parking, comfortable beds, complimentary coffee and tea (and a basic continental breakfast). The staff were also incredibly nice! I assume its a popular stop off for long-distance drivers.
    The walls are pretty thin. Probably fine if youre traveling in a normal week, but I was traveling the week of Thanksgiving - the place was packed with families, and it was not quiet or restful.
