    The long check-in and no parking and lots of smoking
    I liked that the bath and shower water was hot.
    I did not like that we had to pay for additional parking that was not affiliated with Laquita Hotel. The check-in line was very long . There was only one staff member working at the check-in desk . There was also a lot of smoking in the rooms and halls.

    The lady that checked us in was lovely & Trin was a delight.
    We booked through bookings ,& bookings said $30- a day for parking. But when we get there no it's $49- for some reason. And breakfast wasn't a nice experience.

    Terrible experience. Will not be staying here again.

    Rooms were dated, staff was rude, breakfast was subpar, the rooms were cleaned every 3 days and only if requested, and even though we requested it, when we showed up to the room at the end of the day, the beds hadnt need made / sheets hadnt been replaced, only the trash had been taken out. When we booked the hotel we werent informed the rooms would only be cleaned every 3 days. We got kicked out of the breakfast room 5 minutes before breakfast was officially over. We continuously had to asked for towels and shampoo, we booked two rooms for 3 people each, and we only got two towels and a tiny bottle of shampoo for each room. The housekeeper stole some ointment we had left on the night stand, the container was there, but she emptied it.

    The location of this property was great.
    There were many broken things in our room, stains, and dirty things. For the price of this hotel I was disappointed.

    Location was great.
    This lady at the reception wasn't that friendly in general and specifically after I asked for 3 times for extra towels she reacted very irritated. And gave some conceited looks. The breakfast was very busy,you had to hoard you're food otherwise is was gone and would leave with an empty stomach.

    We had a wonderful stay at this La Quinta. The staff were kind and helpful. The location is excellent! Walking distance to the French Quarter and many shops and restaurants.
