    The Las Arenas Balneario Resort is a massive hotel that is in need of renovation. However, the breakfast is amazing and the hotel has direct access to the beach. Some guests felt that the hotel was b (Read More)elow the standards of other leading hotels. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with great sea views, but lacked character. The hotel staff provided excellent service. The location is great for relaxation and walks on the beach. The hotel restaurant received mixed reviews. Overall, the hotel is recommended for its facilities and location.

    A not quite luxury hotel
    The hotel is in a beautiful position on the MalvaRosa beach. It is well appointed, the rooms (and bathrooms) are spacious and take advantage of the view. The hotel staff are very professional and friendly. We were staying to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and there was a bottle of cava and some Swiss chocolates waiting for us in the room. There is great attention to detail.
    Despite all the many positives we feel the cost (for room only) was very high at 303. The restaurant has a delicious sounding menu but we had to send a lunch dish back as the food was cold, the rest of the meal was average at best.

    not worth the price, location with bad service destroyed the vacation.
    The Staff at the restaurant was very friendly and helpful. The room was accomodated to my needs with no extra questions. Apart from the room service people the hotel was to the standards.
    There are a couple of things I did not like. One, they mentioned there was 24/7 room service and we tried to reach from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM during our stay and we did not get a simple tea we needed. For the price of the hotel I was expecting a decent room service and it destroyed all the good things I love about the hotel. The second thing is also to the standards I was expecting from the hotel. The cocktails were mediocre, it was made like it was a cheap bar outside the city. Again, for the hotel standards it should not have been this bad. Bad presentation for a mojito and old-fashined. They used a green peel in the old fashioned and made the mojito extra sweat.

    We enjoyed our stay
    It is a very grand hotel setting in a super location
    We were above the restaurant and one night after service at around 11.30pm until 2am after we complained twice, the tables and chairs in the restaurant were being moved around and the noise of scraping furniture on floors was reverberating onto our corridor and into the room to the extent where we could not sleep. And so it spoiled a whole night and next day of our stay for us!

    Everything was exceptional from the moment we arrived and the professionalism of the staff to the facilities and the room.All the communal areas are immaculate.The staff are outstanding.The leisure facilities are excellent and included in the room rate.Spa treatment are extra.The hotel is right on the sea front and there is a walkway up and down from the harbour.

    The location was nice but we expected beachfront view from the breakfast area but that was not the case.

    Facilities, food available during breakfast, view of ocean from room. Upon check in moved us to a room to view sunrise from room. Provided a welcome note in room.

During breakfast, staff would drop off dirty plates and cutlery into containers very loudly waking our 3month child sleeping in pram (on several occasions). Breakfast staff not considerate of the loud noises they make to nearby residents trying to dine quietly. Bathroom had no exhaust fan.

    Excellent place to stay in Valencia
    This hotel is perfect. It is in a great location and the views from our sea view room were fantastic. We took taxis into the centre which cost 15 euros each way. The hotel staff are very attentive and helpful.
    I thought the breakfast was very limited.
