The sea-view rooms on higher floors provide beautiful (Read More)views. The air-con is strong and the gym and swimming pool are well-maintained, although the pool can be too cold. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Some minor drawbacks include dated carpets, repetitive breakfast, occasional lobby odor, and elevator wait times. Overall, it is a cozy and comfortable hotel in the heart of the city.

    Centrally located but hotel facilities at a very run down state.
    The room is very spacious, some 30 or more metre. It faces the sea overlooking the fisher boats and fresh market along the waterfront. The location is very central. Across the road is already the fresh market and rows of restaurants along the waterfront. The night market is also just next door. The swimming pool is on the 2nd floor and most times shady with comfortable sea breezes.
    The hotel is in a very run down state and should not be graded with 5 stars!. The room although very spacious, is not usefully employed. For example, there is only one narrow size cabinet to hang some clothes, no drawers to keep t shirts , underwear etc. So we have to pick our things directly from the suitcase since there is a lot of space. The bathroom is in a very run down state. The shower cabinet is full of old water stains on the glass panels,very unpleasant to look at. most of all , the toilet cover does not match the original size toilet, it is smaller than the toilet. This should never happen in a 5 star hotel. The housekeeping service was minimal, only changing what needed to be changed. No vacuum cleaning as I can see my hair lying in the white marble floor in the toilet nor wiping of any surface areas in the whole room.

    Excellent place for short stay and wonderful time I had for the New Year countdown
    The interior is well furnished, staff were attentive and helpful, the rooms were well maintained, and food has a good spread and taste
    The one bedroom suite we stayed has the shower room door couldnt close properly, making water fly out when showering. The check in process can be made better as we were delayed almost an hour into the standard check in time, and little attempt to make up for it was done until I made my point across.

    Nice hotel but location was not so nice.
    This hotel is like a home away from home. The rooms are big, neat, clean and comfortable. The service staff are helpful, friendly and attentive, professional and definitely make us feel at home. They go the extra mile to serve (especially Ricky Ling, Jason Chung, chef Bobby, Joshua Jaime and Cedric). Kudos to them!!! The breakfast buffet spread was amazing and delicious. Highly recommended! More live entertainment in the hotel would definitely be a plus point!
    The hotel was located in a not so nice vicinity. The Filipino market opposite of the hotel was selling dried seafood and the smell drifted to the hotel was a bit overwhelming.

    The personal in the hotel are very nice and friendly. Good location in the city center and walk distance to various restaurants, shopping mall and Jesselton Point ferry terminal. Every day two big bottles of drinking water free in the room.
