Staff were so lovely but we felt for the room and the overcrowded spa it was not worth the price
The spa is lovely but small and can get very overcrowded. I like the fact it was an adult only. The hotel itself is lovely but room we had not so much. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Our room was in the attic with no lift so 2 fairly steep flights of stairs. It was extremely small. We purposely did not pick the 'Cosy King' as we felt that was another way of saying small. We went for the 'classic' but honestly it was tiny but the worst thing about it was that the floor was on a slant so therefore so was the bed. You are practically sleeping with your legs higher than your head. To add to that it is very noisy, you can hear all the guests in neighbouring rooms... You would get a better room and nights sleep at the premier inn which this room kind of reminded me of that hotel as the same colour scheme is used.

My recent stay
The location was excellent, providing convenient access to various amenities.I enjoyed the spa facilities, and the option to order drinks made the experience quite refreshing.
One aspect that caught me off guard was when I ordered a drink in the spa, I was asked to pay immediately. I assumed it would be settled during checkout. This was a bit unusual, especially as I didn't have a card at the time, and there wasn't an alternative provided.Additionally, I encountered noise issues in the top floor rooms, specifically in rooms 23-26. There seemed to be inadequate sound insulation, making it quite disruptive as I could hear sounds from the neighboring rooms.
