Weekend away visiting friends and family

The room was spacious and the bed was large with additional chairs. The food in restaurant was very good.

The restaurant service was extremly poor, had better in a poor Wetherspoons.

Arrived at 21:05. They stopped serving food at 9pm. No other food bar snacks or room service available. Wine was very veery expensive

Felt tired as a hotel - and didn't really meet my expectations. Should have paid slightly more to stay at Burleigh Court as was linked to visiting Loughborough Uni. Coridoor smelt strongly of canabis during my stay

Superb

Pleasant staff and good location

Friendly staff and a very quiet room. All staff pleasant. Good location for me as my daughter is at the university opposite.

Some lights didnt work and no plugs near the bed to charge phone

Comfortable stay

The room (including the bathroom) was clean, the bed was comfy, and it was nice having air con. The room was big too, I didn't feel penned in like some other hotels. There was plenty of hanging space, and I was glad there were a choice of pillows (2 spare on top of the wardrobe space).

I couldn't find a plug socket near the bed, and the bed side table lamp only worked on one side. The hallway outside of the room was dated and the carpet was stained/heavily soiled - I was a bit concerned about what the room was going to be like before I entered.... Obviously it's a high traffic area, but it just wasn't a very good first impression
