Perfect start to our holiday...

Everything about our stay was great. The hotel food, staff, cleanliness and all available services made the start of our holiday a very comfortable and pleasant experience. Will be staying here again.

The lack of breakfast options. Noisy guests, and the awful new parking system. What was up with just paying for parking when you pay for your room, same invoice? Massively over complicated what was a simple system before

Better hotels in the area at the same price, especially breakfast.

Hotel happy to find us, as disability travellers, a room near to reception and restaurant, as requested.

Breakfasts rather poor. Bacon overcooked, sausages undercooked and scrambled egg very disappointing. No fried eggs. On arrival, door card did not work. Hotel forgot to charge us. Disappointing to have to pay a car park charge, especially for disabled travellers who cannot park elsewhere.

FIRST CLASS

A very welcoming arrival. All staff and especially David, the Manager, were very helpful and super friendly. The room was warm, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Pillows could be changed for softness/firmness/ comfort and even could request small toiletry items if needed. The complimentary breakfast was very welcoming at 4 am for an early flight (continental up to 6.30 am) and plenty of choice. Do not book a taxi if travelling to the airport, buses run from outside on a regular basis for 2 pp and reception can track when the next bus is due. We would have stayed longer if staying in the area. We couldn't fault anything. Well done Holiday Inn Express Castle Donnington.
