    Comfortable and affordable hotel with good access to village centre
    Very thoughtful owners. There is a well equipped kitchen where guests can cook their own food and sit at a table. Milk, juice and breakfast foods are provided within the very reasonable price. Beds are comfortable. Shower superb. A great find. A short way along the road theres an alleyway that leads directly to the high street, where youll find some lovely restaurants and a pub, late night groceries and a Post Office.
    Would have liked to have had more ventilation in the room (4) but unfortunately the sash window doesnt open. This is really a minor gripe though.

    Frustrating to gain access but good help line came to the rescue and once inside we were very happy
    Clean. comfortable and spacious. Good parking and good access to local facilities - great breakfast to be had in the nearby high street.
    Check-in details sent by WhatsApp not as notified "by text or email" - The initial acknowledgement could have warned us to look out for access details as we booked whilst travelling so didn't know we needed anything else.

    Fantastic for Donington Park Circuit
    Great value for money, the room got very dark on a night which is great for light sleepers, a good sized room.
    The car park is a little awkward to park in but forgivable given the age of the building and location. Having parking was massively appreciated. I do think the rooms would benefit from having pillow and mattress protectors but the bedding was clean.

    The location of the hotel is brilliant. Lots of pubs and restaurants. Only 5 minutes from the race track. The room was really clean. Spacious. Quiet. Lovely shower and bed. I am definitely booking to stay again. Also, communal kitchen was handy. Can't wait to go back
    The only thing i found to be an issue was the electric hob they have in the kitchen. Could not get this to work. And no instructions either. Sk we couldn't use it. But that is literally the only one thing .
