The facilities were great, the hotel overall was amazing. The staff was not that friendly and accommodating and we were disappointed that there was not Dominican food on any of the menu. Overall, we loved our stay.

A true oasis where relaxation meets indulgence, this resort surpasses expectations!
The constant push trying to sell vacation plans, wasting time of our days even tho we clearly said multiple times we werent interested, making us feel annoyed and uncomfortable.

Great potential but terrible experience overall
The staff were great. They were helpful and kind.
To start off with a 3 hour check-in because the credit card I used to book and guarantee my room wasn't accepted when I got there without being forewarned got things started on the wrong foot. I still have no idea why we couldn't somehow make things happen much easier and more smoothly. The suggestion I made after a few minutes was what we ended up doing 3 hours later. Awful! To follow this, we were placed in a room directly next to construction that started at 8am with jackhammers and didn't stop until 9pm. Would have appreciated being given this information prior so I could have chosen how to spend my money. Staff was great. Food was mediocre at best. Overall, not a great stay. It had great potential!

Let me start by saying that I HAVE NEVER EVER IN MY LIFE FELT THE NEED TO WRITE A REVIEW ABOUT A RESORT AND I TRAVEL A LOT!!! This resort was HORRIBLE. If you plan on staying here, Id reconsider. Its much more relaxing than it is fun so if youre a party person, this isnt the resort for you. Also this resort only has a BREAKFAST BUFFET. Other resorts offer both. It was disappointing for sure. The breakfast didnt feel like breakfast either. It felt like lunch.. I also had a couple cold showers while staying here. Some days the water was hot and some days the water was cold. But the worse part about the trip was when it rained. Live Aqua is not a resort who is PREPARED FOR RAIN AT ALL. THE WHOLE ENTIRE FIRST FLOOR LOBBY WAS FLOODED. THE BREAKFAST BUFFET AREA WAS FLOODED, the hibachi restaurant also was flooded due to all of the water that got into the lobby so we couldnt eat there for the night. EVERYONE WHO STAYED ON THE FIRST FLOOR HAD TOWELS IN FRONT OF THEIR DOOR BECAUSE WATER WAS GETTING IN. I THOUGHT THAT WAS RIDICULOUS!!! So basically if it rains during your trip to LIVE AQUA GOODLUCK!! It was the worse ever. I dont think Id stay here again for free. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THE RESORT FINEST!!!! HAPPY BOOKING EVERYONE! Hope this helped!
