    Absolutely lovely little hotel. Polite and friendly and professional staff. Nothing too much trouble for them. The room was lovely and had everything you would need for an overnight stay. Added bonus, down stairs in the lock and key cafe they do the most gorgeous breakfast.. highly recommend, definitely be returning

    Not quite as envisaged. ightly overpriced for what it was but served the purpose for a short break.
    Location great for city centre. Staff were friendly and we had a back room so it was quiet. Very handy for the city centre.
    Room not quite as upmarket as photos and write up portrayed. On entering room first thing noticed was damage to chest of drawers and bedside tables which spoiled first impressions. 'Extra large bed' was two singles attached so not as comfortable as a normal double bed.

    The bare normal standard lightbulb in the room and the wonky/,loose toilet seat.Considering this is a boutique hotel these faults should have been addressed before letting the room out.Get these two faults sorted and you have an excellent Hotel

    Staff excellent,room spacious clean needs a bit of TLC but big room.Breakfast was amazing

    Booked for my parents for Xmas present , they loved the stay and said staff were excellent. Room was cosy and breakfast was lovely. They even booked another night.
    They never mentioned anything they didnt like.

    Staff were friendly, location is great
    Poor shower, water cuts off all the time, dirty paintwork. Toilet continues filling after flushing and makes random noises. Damaged light chandelier, tablet didnt work for ordering as described by staff. Didnt receive special request that was agreed prior to arrival.

    Great location, central to everything. Friendly staff. Nice rooms & comfortable bed. Breakfast was good in the attached bar & kitchen (extra cost).
    No biggy but no shelves in the bathroom to put any toiletries on.
