    Lovely building, full of character. Good pool and spa area.
    Rooms very tired, really need some TLC! Menu for the evening meal was quite limited and theyd sold out of a couple of dishes.

    Really enjoyed our stay, best hotel we have been to. So much to do, grounds are beautiful, staff are friendly, rooms are spacious.
    Only criticism is the TV, we came for a relaxing night away and would of liked to sit in the hotel in the evening to watch TV but with limited channels we had to venture out and find something else to do, a smart TV with Netflix would of made our stay perfect. Will definitely be visiting again, apart from that it was brilliant

    Friendly staff. Great pool which the kids enjoyed. Our family room was great as it had a small side room with a bunk bed (probably only big enough for 7 year olds but fine for us). The food in the restaurant was excellent although pricey.
    A lot of the rooms are in separate buildings to main hotel, which was annoying in the bad weather we had during our stay

    Great family friendly hotel
    Loved the separate room for the children. The staff were friendly and helpful and the swimming pool was great.
    It was a shame the other restaurant was closed for dinner.

    Disappointing. Fell short of my expectations.
    Great rooms. Lovely setting. Very relaxing.
    Breakfast overpriced and no better than Premier Inn. Couldnt have a meal in the restaurant as fully booked both nights we were there. Not happy as it was my wifes 60th birthday and we expected to be able to eat at the hotel. A bit disappointed if Im honest!

    Beautiful venue, loved being able to use the pool, the accommodation was clean and modern.
    We didn't get to try the breakfast, but we did have dinner in the restaurant, the staff were very friendly, especially the bar staff. The fire was roaring and as it was Christmas it made for a lovely atmosphere.
    I suppose we'd have liked the breakfast to have been served from 6, but that is really only to fit around our trip, so i wouldn't say i'm critical of that. Perhaps we could have been offered a travel box when we said we wouldn't be able to have the breakfast.

    Excellent - we will be back!
    Beautifully clean. Beds were amazingly comfy and we loved the pillows. Swimming pool was amazing. Breakfast was lovely and loads of options. Shower was great and there was a bath - we just didnt use it. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
    Tiny issue - the TV in the kids room didnt work at all and the TV in the main room had really bad reception and only worked on a couple of channels but really didnt bother us as we werent there to watch TV! WiFi signal was good though and worked well.
