Great time! Walking distance to Petco Stadium!
    Loved the view & Location!
Parking fee, $65 for one night. Cost of drinks on 40th floor bar. Tub didn't drain properly and someone else's hair on shower wall.

    Disappointing
    Extremely disappointed
It was very easy to park and check in. The wait was not long at all, considering it was a holiday. Personnel were very helpful and friendly. We had an awesome view from our room.
Our room had issues regulating its temperature. It got very stuffy at times, and when we would turn the ac on, it took a while to cool down. The first night I was there, there was an issue with the hot water. There was no cold water, so it went from hot water to extremely HOT water. We called down to the main desk, and shortly after, someone was at our door. The technician told us to run the sink water on cold for about 20 minutes AND THAT should help with regulating the hot water temperature in the shower... That did work, for that night. The following evening not at all. We found out that if you flushed the toilet the shower would cool just enough just to wash and rinse off in. Very inconvenient. For the price we paid, this was unacceptable. Especially too because your driving up to the hotel and thinking "this is so fancy" you'd never guess that this would be an issue. So after a sauna of a shower the windows in the room were fogged up and the room became extremely hot a stuffy again. Trying to sleep was an issue. The beds say queen, they were more like a double. The bedding was weird, they weren't microfiber, I can't even explain what the texture of them were. Just not what you'd expected from such a beautiful outside appearance. On top of that you could hear what sounded like water pressure, a high pitched noise pretty much off and on the whole night. And again the following evening. I do want to mention that I was contacted by the hotel via text, apologizing for the issue. It was nice that they acknowledged it, but still remains, nothing was done about it.

    Good
    location,
We booked our New Year holiday at Manchester, because we heard they have a good party in this eve. Very poor. Front Desk suggested 2 restaurants in the neighborwood we went to Meze we felt explored they over charged for everything, horrible food, we spend midnight in trying to pay. It happened because nothing had in the hotel. In the Manchester everything is expensive Parking, breakfast. The room's bathroom needs more attention wallpaper is falling, metal in the shower is rusty

    Very good
    Great Value and wonderful views
The hotel has everything you need, there is a market in the lobby with 24 hours service and they serve starbucks coffee. They have sandwiches and fruits so that was very convenient. The hotel is located by the sea so it's about 20 minutes walk to reach downtown san Diego where all the action is. The room was ok, nothing special about it, however, the view from the room was amazing.

Great spot for exploring & walking with friendly staff.
Easy to find. Impressive building and lobby. Room view and location excellent. I did often go to bell desk and they were so very helpful. The staff available was excellent.
Bathroom although sleek and beautiful, lacked adequate storage for personal items. Towel hook kept falling off. Also I really missed having a concierge. I wish there was a dedicated person to guide us on attractions rather having to walk around and use my phone to find them. I am sure we missed excellent opportunities. I have been to less expensive hotels with the service available.

Primo location. Excellent, friendly, helpful staff.
$45/day for parking is exorbitant and there was a $39 "facilities fee" (or whatnot) on my bill - that seems like simply an after the fact, not previously disclosed money grab. Also, the facilities are somewhat dated.

    Pleasant
Great location but the room cleaning service was something left to be desired.
The location was wonderful and was within walking distance to public transportation, restaurants, USS Midway, the boardwalk, etc.
We stayed for 4 nights and only had our room cleaned once, which was the day after we checked in; we had to call to get water and toilet paper which are basics. We spoke to multiple staff who were cleaning the rooms down the hall or across from us. Both responded that our room was assigned to someone else but theyd let the person know we wanted our room cleaned. No one ever came.

Good experience but needs some changes.
I liked the location. The hotel was clean and looked high-end. Housekeeping did a great job with our rooms. The gym was nice and clean. My son used the swimming pool and hot tub every day and loved it.
I paid for the breakfast when reserving my rooms. I think the breakfast buffet is good but not worth $37 per person. In addition, we had to pay tips and that was a very expensive breakfast. The destination fee that gets added on is not acceptable. I know many hotels are doing this but I consider it to be cheating as we are paying additional fees for things that are services that should be provided to the customer. The omelet station was great but the avocado toast was not good tasting. Also it was avocado spread over plain bread, it was not toasted. It should not be called toast. I also suggest you use sourdough bread. The current bread that is being used does not taste good. I would suggest future travelers to look at food options outside the hotel. In my room the sink was cracked, the bathroom door wouldn't lock, and the hallway light in my room flickered all night. I was too busy to complain about it. This would be room 2277. Overall, I am pleased with the stay but would suggest making changes.

Not too happy. Seem okay to for the management for guest to wait. No offered complimentary
Waited 2 hours for our room to be ready. Checked in at 6pm that is inconvenient from a long flight to wait to relax.
