They were missing a bed from my reservation and refused, initially, to correct it. Check-in was scheduled for 3, but the room was not ready until 5:30pm. The staff promised to call when the room was ready and never did so. The bags were not delivered to the room as promised. Overall, poor service and unresponsive to reasonable requests to fulfill the hotel's end of the bargain.

The location of the hotel next to Suria KLCC very convenient for shopping & dining.
Our room located at 18th floor with the Twin Tower view.
Delayed in check in time until 5.20pm. Luggage delivery delayed until 6pm.
Already emailed earlier for the birthday & wedding anniversary, promised to give complimentary cake & flower. Hotel staff was too busy have to remind them again. But only get 1 small piece of chocolate cake & small bouquet of flowers which the colors not nice. Breakfast too packed & have
to put us at the upstairs like a hall which suppose to be at the ground floor "Mosaic" with beautiful decorations. Didn't enjoy the breakfast. Because of the delayed, our time is really limited for us to go shopping in the evening & taking our dinner. After dinner, went back to hotel already tired, no mood to join the crowds
for new year celebration since no fireworks.

We had a nice room with twin towers view, queen size comfy bed, super clean property, staff members were kind and attentive.
Really poor noise isolation, could hear all the noises coming from the neighbours rooms, which made sleeping very difficult until late night, the long lines for checking in and out, and the expensive breakfast buffet for the Malaysian standards, almost 20 pp.

Rooms setup not up to date trend e.g power point is not next to bedside and very scare . Essential for ohone charging.
Bed is too old and sunking in causes back pain.
Room is so dark with scare of lights and bad locations of light. Depends on lamp stand only.

Exceptional base for exploring KL
My stay at the mandarin oriental was exceptional, the staff were very friendly and always willing to help, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the facilities were exceptional. I was blown away by the variety and quality of the buffet breakfast and the food available at the other restaurants.
I did find that some of the facilities, fittings and fixtures were not well maintained, however the staff quickly resolved the one problem that I had with my tub.
