Lovely little hotel and super friendly staff!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful! We arrived late, around midnight, and check in was seamless and the gentleman helping us was so nice and accommodating. He offered us tea and coffee, which is available 24h if we wished some before retiring for the night. Our room was cozy and beautifully decorated, and their Christmas decorations were absolutely lovely; we were thoroughly impressed by the decor on the property! The complementary breakfast was also a very nice touch - it was a simple Quebecois breakfast, with pastries, yogurt, a toast station with baguette slices and five different types of jam, also a station with hard boiled eggs and crton spread. All were delicious! We were in town for only one night, so we could not enjoy all the amenities on site, but we truly wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely be back in warmer weather!

Finding parking was a bit of a challenge, as there is no parking lot on the property. However, we were able to find street parking in front of the property, and the parking was free for the night, until 8AM. The night staff was so helpful in letting us know of all the tricks and tips about street parking; he warned us to be sure to download the parking app (which turned out to be the P$ app) and pay for our spot in the morning. Since we were staying only one night, we didn't mind paying $8 every two hours, until we had to check out.

Overall it was a really nice location to reach everywhere we needed in a walking distance, breakfast was nice, staff was nice... Everything was on point.

The only "negative" point is that we would come into the room with some minor snow in the shoes and leaving them at the door inside the room would leave a small puddle. Not sure if we missed some tray for it or a carpet, but yeah it was also our first days in snow.

The staff and the decor; coziness, friendly yet professional, atmosphere, quietness. Loved the staff!!!!

Hot water for bath was not available for 2 out of 3 nights, and something was wrong with the tap. The staff fixed it. It would be nice if the jets could be turned on and off from the bath. The hotel needs to put a step outside the front door!!! I fell leaving! Luckily I was not hurt, but this needs to be fixed. Put a sign up asap, but install a proper step.
