The breakfast was great, lots of variety, top quality and all very delicious. Well equipped gym, with sauna and jacuzzi. Beds are very comfortable.
Pillows a bit hard. 15-20 minutes walk to Old Quarters.

Great place for a relaxing stay while also getting to know the city.
Melia Hanoi is clearly one of the top hotels in the city in terms of location, service and the friendliness of staff. It is within easy walking distance of many of the citys attractions. And there is always the handy Grab to take you anywhere else you would like to go.
While there was a great breakfast and a handy bar for drinks, there is no major restaurant for those times when you have been out all day and wish to stay in for dinner.

Great hotel for conferences in Hanoi
Property is great and close enough to the old quarter for the size of the hotel.
Its a larger hotel suited for conferences and hence for that purpose it fit well but not great for solo travelers
