    They said they would provide an express clean on the second last day, but no one did it. However I understood its not part of my booking.

    the room has a kitchen with everything you need in it if you want to eat in.
    old furnishing, the room had a "view" of the neighbouring roofs and a permanent loud noise coming from outside ( probably the ventilation system) . I asked for clean towels, they brought only the large ones and never removed the used ones. not so beautiful neighbourhood ( China town) and way overpriced due to NYE. lesson learned : never trust the pictures a hotel advertises...

    The location of the hotel is very convenient, very close to city center (Town Hall) and Chinatown. The size of the room was very big (same as the photo, except the view). I liked having chromecast to watch things from my subscriptions.
    Even a room on 19th floor is between buildings and has no good view. Most of the room windows are looking at each other, so I had to keep the curtains closed. The bathroom and the washing utilities were aged, but serving its purpose. After staying at the Meriton Suites in Melbourne, which was quite new and had good views, I make a comparison as expected.

    One of our best accommodations during our 14 days trip to Tasmania and Sydney. We feel so relaxed at the Meriton as the room is very clean and modern. The location is excellent being so close to Chinatown and walking distance to most attractions in Sydney such as Opera House and the Darling Harbour (if you don't want to do the 30mins walk, trams and busses are available just outside the accommodation).

    Good location, decent room, but be prepared for trash buildup and lack of housekeeping on a regular basis
    Very close to Chinatown and easy access to transportation.
    There were not regular housekeeping services and that impacted our stay. Additionally, the staff were not as responsive as I would like.
