Horrible Check-in Experience

Great location, especially since we watched Disney On Ice with kids at the MOA Arena - there is a covered walkway that extends from S Maison (which is just across the hotel), through SMX and straight to the Arena.

the check-in process was horrible - we arrived early at 11am to complete the check-in registration process so it will be smoother upon checkin time at 2pm since we have kids. When we returned at 2pm, there is a huge line already, as expected. When I asked if the room is ready, the front desk personnel advised the room will not be ready from 30 mins to 1 hr. He was also discriminating, as when others complained, he offered late checkout. Horrible experience altogether - although we waited based on the timeline provided, he failed to give adjoing rooms as well - which I asked for when we did the checkin registration when we arrived

Great location. Reasonable room rate. Size of the room, just right. Food at the hotel restaurant (Millie's) was good but the restaurant staff are not quite efficient.

The server at the hotel restaurant (Millie's) who took our order, was probably new (benefit of the doubt) bec. he did not write it down, when I asked him to repeat the order, he missed something. It was past 10am, my 2 nieces and I were the only guests at that time. We were also charged for a coffee that we did not order. Good thing I checked the bill. Also, at 10:45am, I went to back to our room to get something, the key card did not work. A housekeeping staff in the other room said the key card expires at 11am even if check out time is at 12pm. It was not even 11am yet. I talked to the front desk staff who apologized, fixed it, and said the key card shld be good until 12pm.
