The room was very cold when we checked in and took a long time to warm up. You could hear everything outside the door and thorough the walls. Small room. You had to pay $50 for late check out.

Not the worst, definitely room for improvement.
The bed was adequately comfortable, parking was convenient and there were blackout curtains.
Shower wand was busted, carpet needed to be vacuumed, bathroom was a wreck because of the shower wand problem, you could hear the doors of the neighboring rooms closing like they were my own, room needed to be painted, urgently. Pet policy was expensive compared to other hotels.

I booked a 111 sq/m room and got a 33 sq/m room. Booking screwed me and still it required MY time to look into it and positive result. Classic Breakfast $70 US per person, OMG! Also a $50US "Early Checkin Fee" and we got there 1 hr before check in . Cash grab, Cash grab!!! and No bottled water in the room, bare bones But there's a vending machine on each floor. Won't stay there again =(

Good location
Parking rate is off the charts expensive but our SUV would not fit in their garage anyway so we parked elsewhere and saved money. Pet fee was much higher than I would expect at $75. The room was quite dark even with the lamps on, it was hard to see things even in daylight.
There is no driveway that takes you to the front door at reception but instead there are two parking stalls in front on the main street with a sign that says drop off only three minute maximum and it was not enforced because we had to drive around the block about four times to be able to park out in front, which was a big inconvenience given that I have a broken ankle. When we checked out, it was the same situation. There was a service van that was servicing the hotel, and it was there for a really long time. Im not sure why they thought that the hotel guest passenger drop off and pick up was a good place for service vans to park.
I reserved the hotel with my credit card and my husband has a loyalty card but they wouldnt take it because hes not the one that made the booking .
Neither my son nor I were able to work the shower . We didnt want to break anything by forcing it but it was not obvious to us how to turn it on, so I had a sink bath.
Toilet paper holder on wall tipped down each time we touched it, knocking the roll on to the floor.
The clock showed an hour ahead and i tried to change it but couldnt figure it out (not my job!! Daylight savings was an entire week ago). I unplugged it and somehow still a 5:35 am alarm on the unplugged clock woke us up.
