    No 5 Pilmour is a nice B&B with helpful owners who contacted the guest on arrival. The rooms are clean but small, with a small bathroom. The location is ideal, with public car parking nearby and clos (Read More)e to the town center and the old course clubhouse. The breakfast is excellent, with guests sitting together at one table. Overall, guests found the guesthouse comfortable, pleasant, and well-looked after, with delicious homemade breakfast options and thoughtful touches.

    Great location but small rooms with TERRIBLE showers
    Great Location, easy access to everything in town including a short walk to St Andrews Golf Course. Breakfast each morning including a cooked breakfast of your choice which was amazing.
    Small stuffy rooms and when you opened your windows to gain some fresh air you were rewarded with LOUD street noise from cars and motor bikes driving fast in the street and patrons leaving the pub. The shower was TERRIBLE! Unstable water temperature with absolutely no pressure, so scalding from hot water is a possibility. No fridge to keep drinks cold. No onsite parking so if you have suitcases you will need to lug them up the street (or wherever you are lucky enough to find parking). Travel light or be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs if you are located on the top floor as we were.

    Nice room, nice location, nice breakfast.
    Awwwwwesoooome! The room is clean and well be cleaned daily. Cookies provided daily. Breakfast contains amount of choices like bagel+salmon or salmon+eggs (yet dont know whether can order two or more once because I only order one). The location is really great as its in the town center and not far from the bus station. Some bars nearby.
    The reception is in the Dunvegan bar (west of No 5 Pilmour), not at No 5 Pilmour. Dont know whether if arriving late the bar will be closed.

    Breakfast was nice and morning team pleasant Perfectly located just a short walk to St Andrews links complex Dunvegan hotel bar and eatery just two doors down Excellent bathroom Beds nice
    I reported no hot water was not fixed and had to have freezing showers twice

    Great location but very small for a couple
    Walking distance to the Old Course. Good French toast breakfast. Comfortable bed. Found free street parking within 1 block.
    Bed was way too small for a couple. The room was tiny. It was the smallest room of the 5 Scottish towns we went to by far. Shower was minuscule. I am not a large man and I could barely turn around in the shower. The property is unmanned but there is a hotel nearby that services the property.
