There was a random sock under our bed.
The ladies at the reception were also so rude and bland. Not a single ounce of good hospitality from them and they seem more concerned about talking amongst themselves.
Smiling wont hurt and goes a long way.

Great location a short walk from the main shopping street. It was no frills/ fuss and met our needs for a convenient night's stay. Also has car parking available onsite

Very good location. AirPort Express bus stops right outside the door.
Easy walking distance to bars, restaurants and local attractions
The room was clean and a good size.
Reception was ridiculously busy at all times with people queuing for long periods to check in/out. Surely should have more staff on at peak times.
My TV didnt work and despite asking for it to be fixed on three separate occasions it didnt work for my whole stay. On one of the occasions I was told the maintenance staff only work from 9am to 5pm - whats the point in that when guests are generally only there produce those times?!
When I raised the TV issue at check out the reception lady just stared at me and said nothing!! I repeated my disappointment and she mumbled something incomprehensible. I suggested I should be given a discount but she didnt know how to cope with that - so Im the end I just gave up.

Very narrow and expensive parking, bad service from staff, customer service was bad (reception never answers the phone). Hotel does not have buffet breakfast and gluten-free bread

Walk in shower and very nice large bed
No basic kitchenette/ would have been great to have a microwave etc. also the fridge provided was very average didnt keep stuff that cold and the rooms were very warm even with the ac on. Would be great to have windows that could open not sealed shut.
