Will stay again - great central location
Great location, funky decor, very cool lollies at the desk.
Slightly small room - not a lot of room for luggage

    Design and style is nice
While style was there, substance was lacking. We stayed 2 nights, and while the room was spotless when we checked in, it wasnt cleaned the next morning. Body wash was also empty and took 3 calls to get someone to bring a new one.

Very warm welcome. Very well located.
Rooms a little bit small. strange to have a restaurant closed on boxing Day while the hotel is still full of customers

    Very poor
    Looks good, feels terrible!
Social spaces, extras - mini bar, amenities etc
The sleep experience! Far too hot with an old, ineffective ceiling fan, even the hallways were baking. Got no sleep. Can do up a 5*hotel next door, this one has been left to wear and tear. No toilet paper on arrival, windows didn't open. Stuffy, smelly, small. Coffee machine which cups didn't fit, nondescript coffee capsules of an odd number, water left in machine and unable to plug in as no room behind wall bolted "wardrobe". The socket was full of scratches where other people had tried.

    Enjoyed my stay
Location is good, many restaurants and cafes nearby, hotel is beautiful, there is a nice lounge area. Buffet breakfast was great with variety of hot food costed 28$.
No air conditioner, only ceiling fan. Can get hot in summer time. There are bins behind hotel building, can get noisy at night, can hear bottles thrown in recycling, if leaving windows open.

Not bad if it was a hostel
Great location. Bar and downstairs area looked really nice. Helped get mum a different room. Housekeeping lady was lovely. Cheap.
Simply nowhere near a 4 star hotel. No AC just a very dusty fan. Very hot and stuffy. Quite dirty. Curtain had stains all over. Dust and hair everywhere. Loo roll and other amenities the cheapest possible. Room shook if somebody else closed their door. An older family member (who clearly has mobility problems) was checking in with the luggage while i was returning the car to the rental. They did not offer help and said there werent any trolleys (even tho she could see the trolleys).

    Very good
Beautiful, quirky hotel in a prime location.
The property is stunning. From the reception area to the bar/restaurant and the rooms, it was all beautiful. I loved the personality of the hotel and the lovely extras (lollies at reception and free drinks in the mini bar (sparkling flavoured water). The place was stunning. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.
The main building is quite old (which adds to the charm) but it does lead to a lack of sound proofing. We had an interconnecting room and, although not the hotels fault, we had loud neighbours who talked a lot beyond 11pm. We were given another bed for the night but found the same issue as we had another interconnecting room so returned to our original room. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.
