    The Travelodge Hotel Wellington has friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms. Some guests found the rooms too hot despite a fan. The location is central with easy access to local cafes.     We were not told at anytime n the booking process that we would be paying full price for a substandard service leaving us with no bar, resturant or room service for 2 of our 3 nigh stay. If we'd been advised we would have booked elsewhere that had the services we required.

    Staying at the Travel Lodge made our holiday experience so much better. It was the best choice.
    Love the kind friendly staff from reception and the cleaner Rose. Top location walked everywhere. Clean and comfortable.
    The only thing I would change next time is book a room ground level. I don't like to be too high.

    I really like the location. It is central to everything. You can walk to pretty much everywhere in the city. Car park is very convenient and it is under cover and is attached to the hotel building. If you dont mind the quality of the room but the location this hotel would be the perfect one as it is in the heart of the city and attractions such as the cable car and harbour are only a short stroll.
    Cleanliness didnt meet our standards and carpet and Bathroom floors were dirty. There was a cleaner coming every morning but didnt clean the room properly. This is something management needs to focus on. There was an exhaust fan in our bathroom but it didnt work. So after showering the room gets foggy.

    Great value comfortable accommodation in central Auckland
    Excellent value for money accommodation in central Auckland - close to the Botanic Gardens, harbour and other central tourist sites. The comfortable room was well-equipped for self-catering (microwave, cutlery, crockery, kettle, toaster), though no hob. Staff were friendly and helpful.

    Really central to everything, and the lady at the front desk was very nice. Had everything you needed for a short and affordable stay.
    It would be great if they had a more powerful fan. The tower fan was not keeping us even slightly cool

    Simple but clean and comfortable, well located
    Good location in the heart of the city centre, short walk to museums and wharf area. Shops on your doorstep. Simple but clean, comfortable and quiet. Decent bed and shower.
    Watch out if you aren't a fan of heights! We were initially given a corner room and as the rooms aren't big then two floor to ceiling windows on the 10th floor can be vertigo inducing. Staff kindly and promptly swapped us to one that was on the same floor but with the dual windows.
