    This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Overdale Guest house. It is absolutely outstanding on every level. So clean and friendly. Highly recommend.

    Great location, wonderful hosting, excellent value for a tourist-centric place like Whitby.
    Excellent host - Keith was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. He's clearly a natural at running his business. Absolutely lovely room - the furnishings and bed linens were in keeping with the image of the rest of the accommodation, tastefully and cosily done. Good sized bathroom (I hate it when places make en suites cramped, this was not the case here!) Spacious bedroom, too. They encourage people to remove their shoes and don some slippers - I did that straight away! Close to town, just a short way up the bank, so no need to get buses or taxis to get to the tourist spots and amenities. They promised private parking that was included in the price and they delivered. Beautiful building, carefully kept. Will definitely book again, without a hesitation.

    Nothing to add. Beautiful building, great rooms, well-priced when it includes parking for out of towners. Spotlessly clean. Couldn't fault it. I'd encourage people to use these businesses rather than the huge hotel chain types of accommodation.

    All round a very pleasant stay.
    Very clean, and furnished to a high standard. Very comfortable beds, we were upgraded and had a lovely bathroom, with plenty of hot water. Also just a short walk to the town centre where there are plenty of lovely eating places.

    The perfect B and B in Whitby.
    Everything - a beautiful building, spotless, cute and comfortable room, quiet, enough space for 2, and, very importantly, free off street parking. We were able to walk everywhere but you need to be reasonably fit as the streets are very steep in parts. Jayne could not have been more welcoming and helpful, a wonderful host. Highly recommend.
