Passable

Passable accommodation but the restaurant was sensational!

The location is excellent and the staff are very friendly.

The room we had was tired and didnt seem very clean. The walls were scuffed and an old plaster was behind the bin in the bathroom.

We left after half an hour. It was awful!

Leaving! The bar did look quite nice.

It was not fit for purpose, it was cold, the colour scheme was grim, the curtains didnt fit so the bathroom was overlooked, the net curtain on the main window was ripped. The duvet was a summer duvet in a freezing room only heated by a portable heater. Overlooking a main road junction with single glazing wasnt going to give a good nights sleep. We were offered another room but that was as cold and noisy.

Great Hotel reasonably priced

I liked the location. The hotel is also a popular bar. There are plenty of bars and food places in the area. The room was large and clean with tea and coffee, making facilities. The hotel has a very popular Thai restaurant. The full English breakfast included was very good.

The carparking. the hotel does have a tiny carpark, but this was full and difficult to drive in or out of. There is a public carpark a few feet away. I advise you to pay by app. You need to pay at 8 am.
