    Historic building, Great location well maintained and great value for money. Very comfortable place. Best of both worlds between hotels and complete BnB I would say. Really liked that I did not need a key to get in or out. A code was sufficient.

    When I booked a room in this hotel, the photos showed wonderful rooms with typically Venetian interiors, the colors of the walls and upholstery were very tastefully chosen. in short - exactly the kind of rooms that should be in a palace. I paid the maximum price. In reality, my husband and I were placed in a small room without any signs of beauty, style, and so on. We looked from the outside at the palace building and realized that our room was not located in the palace, but in a neighboring house attached to the palace. I was very upset. All this was important to me. I am an art critic, art historian, I adore Venice. If they had honestly shown me a photo of the room in which we were later accommodated, I would not have reserved this hotel. Maybe the management considered us unworthy of palace rooms? Indeed, a university professor and art history specialist - who are they to live in a palace!

    Great location and breakfast, the room could have been bigger for the price paid, but a nice stay.
    Very cosy, and great location. The breakfast ladies were fabulous and accommodated our every need! Thank you.
    Although cosy the room was a tad bit on the smaller side and expensive for what we got but still comfortable.

    there is no common area to sit and in true Venetian style the rooms are very small.

    Lovely hotel in a good location with comfy beds and a delicious breakfast.
    Lovely breakfast each morning, good location about 15 minutes to St Mark's Square. Very quiet, but near alot of restaurants and shops. We were given an upgrade and had a mini kitchen in a cupboard, with a fridge which was great. There is a great supermarket up the street which sold good wine, huge selection of cheese and fresh bread, very handy.
    We were on the ground floor with no view, so it was a bit dark, but we didn't really travel to stay inside. The outside flooded on our second day, so we got wet feet immediately we stepped outside the door. (In November.)
