The restaurant on the ground floor can be noisy until 11 pm, but the rooms have excellent soundproofing. Guests recommend trying the food and wine at the restaurant. The only drawbacks mentioned are the occasional bad internet connection and some issues with room layout and amenities.

Very good

The hotel was an easy walk to plaza mayor and the cathedral. The room was comfortable and quite large for a family. The shower was great. The breakfast was good for the money.

The rooms all face an inner courtyard which is where the hotel restaurant is located and it is LOUD until early into the morning (1-2am). Sleep was hard to come by. My husband waited in the car while I checked in and was immediately accosted by a hotel employee asking when he was going to move and telling him he could not stay there.

A superb bolthole, a skip and a jump from the Plaza Mayor.

I was automatically upgraded when I arrived (always rather nice) to a suite (304), which included a jacuzzi bath and shower area. On the top floor, it was also mansard, which rendered it cosy. No real view, as such, but the room was enormous. Breakfast was very good, with many choices available. The hotel is a traditional 'posada' with lots of wooden features and internal patio. The restaurant seemed very popular, although I did not eat there. Staff were both efficient and friendly.

Good location, Nice Room, but noisy

Great location.

The rooms open to a courtyard which is a restaurant that is open until midnight. It is quite noisy. I had to sleep with earplugs. I was in one of the lower rooms. Maybe it would have been less noisy in a room higher up. Definitely request a room that is on a higher floor.

Location was excellent, easy to anywhere in Madrid and also nearby many restaurants. Room with a balcony was great ans cosy. Breakfast was offered next door and was just delicious. Stong recommendation to stay
