    Rude unhelpful staff. Foyer was re-furbed but the bedrooms and hallways were 3 star at best. The whole hotel looked tired. Definitely not value for money.

    Location for sure Short drive to downtown, walk to the casino Beach was beautiful
    The location of our room, overlooking the roof of the buffet restaurant and all the AC units. Being Riu Class members we were hoping for something better

    Everything was great but for a 5* hotel it could do with an upgrade. There is a musky smell in the room.

    This is not a 5 star resort, it is 2.5 at best. Stay somewhere else, even if it is kid friendly.
    The 3 staff members that were friendly out of probably 100.
    Terrible, unfriendly staff who all appear to hate their jobs. Jerk chicken station did not serve real jerk chicken at any point. The food was consistently cold during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The lunch buffet is left overs from the previous night and lunch - cold, sloppy, and unattended. The food is bland and again, cold. Most hotel attendants look at you in bewilderment, as if they cannot believe you are speaking to them. The room service menu has around 6 items ONLY. No activities for adults, and the scheduled activities almost never happen. Pools close at 6pm. There are only two pools, one medium and one smallboth not 5 star and remind me of an inns facilities. Two or three unsightly, abandoned hotels surround the property. Lifeguard hangs out by the bar and is hardly paying attention. The bar inside has near expired food and once again, cold food sitting out, unattended. The bar was also filthy. The rooms have no microwaves and likely have hidden mold which caused me to be sick the entire time. The coffee bar does not open until 10am, and again, you have to deal with rude employees, so why bother? Mini bar in room is scarcely stocked. Our ocean view room was the view of an abandoned building. The hotel is extremely outdated and even smells like it. Our balcony door was faulty and often swung open. You must book the restaurant reservations a week or two PRIOR to your stay to get one (they tell you this a check-in). The drinks are watered down consistently. There is nothing adult about this adults only resort except that there are no kids. You get NOTHING for the value you paid. Take the loss if you have to, if youve already booked and go somewhere else. Trust me.

    Pleasantly surprised and enjoyed my stay
    I like the fact that you had 24 hour room service, and Indeed, the rooms were a very nice size and everything was comfortable. The food options in all of the restaurants were very good. Id appreciate more available options on the room service menu for breakfast. It is much too limited. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. Even though there were time long periods of time the front desk would not answer the phone and I think attention needs to be paid attention to that because somebody could be sick and letting the phone ring, even though they were well staffed, is neglectful and the hotel becomes liable in an emergency and it doesnt make the customer feel very secure. Regardless I enjoyed my stay, and would certainly return again and recommend it to others..
