    The Rivora Residence in Kandy received positive reviews from guests. The staff was helpful and attentive, especially when dealing with transportation issues. The rooms were well-maintained and the ho (Read More)tel had beautiful furniture. The location was a bit outside of town, but still accessible by taxi or TukTuk. The breakfast was delicious and the public spaces were comfortable. Overall, guests highly recommend staying at this excellent hotel.

    Hotel rooms are excellent. Other facilities such as availability of the TV and breakfast should be improved. Becuase of
    New and very clean rooms. Good air conditioning. Excellent rooms in this environment. Nice surroundings in a very respectable nabour hood.
    TV does not work. Did not work even after a request. Breakfast choice is limited and serving takes time and utensils are not served properly. Welcome by opening the gates should be attentive promptly. Local visitors are given low priority.

    First off: Loved the breakfast. The neighbourhood is upscale residential. Lots of peace and quiet, the river is very close by (walking distance) and all tuk tuks can take you to the city centre in 10-15 mins. The property is clean and spacious, the bathrooms have good ventilation (open windows) and the staff is prompt and efficient. The cook also has a very lovely but shy dog named Lassy. She was the highlight of my daughter's morning. Does not approach by itself and is very respectful of distance.
    So small issue, but at the time we were staying there weren't a lot of guests so the cook would leave early meaning we had to order lunch and dinner. Wasn't a big inconvenience. But there are very few Halal restaurants in Kandy overall. So ordering was a little challenging.

    Lovely hotel, homey arrangement and very comfortable with all amenities and sparkling clean. Would stay again :) Generous breakfast.
    Location is a bit far from everything - but very peaceful and quiet along the river in a residential area. Wifi was quite weak in my room though worked in the common areas.
