    Best place and lovely owner.
    We really enjoyed our 1 night stay. The owner was very friendly and the food was delicious. I really liked that they had chairs and umbrellas for you to relax and enjoy the sun and surroundings. They provide transport to and from the resort and I believe around the whole of Sri Lanka if required. They also offer a laundry service which is a very good service. We will definitely recommend to family and friends and we willhappilyreturn.

    Very pleasant stay
    We were a family of 4. The apartment had a really nice large balcony with no view but facing a very nice vegetation wall (with monkeys coming in the late afternoon!). The A/C works properly, internet a bit less so. We were quite close to the beach and restaurants.
    It was low season so the restaurant was closed, no breakfast or dinner possible. The check in and check out were minimal, with some indifference from the staff. We were missing one bed, the staff brought us a new one quite fast but it was really uncomfortable (a wooden plank and a ultra-thin foam mattress).

    Rock House is well located in Unawatuna, and offers cheap, basic but clean rooms. Our children loved our room with part of the rock making up one of the walls! Fridge and fans appreciated.
    We only stayed for one night, but probably would have struggled for more given the lack of facilities in comparison to other accommodations in Sri Lanka. You get what you pay for, and thus we didn't have air con.
