    Great location at a fun time of year in Hobart!
    Location and although right in the thick of it, was still quiet
    We requested a king bed, which was noted on our booking and confirmed when I called to get the after hours check in details, but when we got there it was only a queen bed. We mentioned it the following morning and the staff member was apologetic but had no idea why we werent given the room we were promised.

    Beautiful room A1 position perfect viewing of the NY fireworks from the balcony
    a bit disappointed that there was no way to play any music (at a decent noise level) and the mugs were too big for the coffee machine.

    Hobart is a beautiful city and a lovely place to visit.
    We loved the location
    The rooms need more hanging space for clothing and wet towels. A door on the shower would make it more practical.

    The location is the biggest draw card, but the facilities and staff always make sure one enjoys one's stay. We have been there before and recommend it to the group we went with.

    Great location, friendly staff and the bonus of off street parking
    The rooms at the rear of the property are dark and some are noisy with late night noisy guests a nuisance. We were moved after two nights to a much better room with a balcony and away from the noisy staircase

    Comfortable small hotel
    Salamanca Wharf is a friendly small hotel, handy to many restaurants, wharf and Salamanca Saturday market. Parking in a stacker was something new to us but a young lady at the reception explained it in great details. Washing/drying machine was a big plus after our three-week travel in Australia.

    Perfect little getaway in the heart of Hobart.
    The rooms were very spacious, bed and pillows were so comfortable. The after hours check in was very easy which made everything go so smoothly.
    The view from the lounge room window was a brick wall but that is out of the hotels control.
