Island. Venice. Boat. Amazing stay!

Oh mama Mia! It was my best experience in my life! Wonderful hotel, Venice, beautiful transfer by boat (which is much more create a vibe of this hotel) The staff is on the TOP level of service. Concierge is perfect (has a small trip to the glass factory, advice about Venices restaurants, and have got amazing wooden boat for the transfer back to the railway station) Housekeeping came twice per day into our room. At midday for cleaning and before evening to prepare our room for sleeping.

No champagne on the breakfast so wanted to have it) And two times we tried to have a lunch or dinner on the terrace near the main entrance, but first time it was kitchen and bar closed and second time it was long waiting of the waiter. Need to make a good entertainment on the terrace and there will be a lot of visitors or may be it will be enough to fix service a little bit.

Blissful respite from San Marco but still able to enjoy all the delight of Venice!

San Marco was booked up, but that was a blessing.we found San Clemente, its own island paradise in Venice only a 10 minute boat ride away and out of the chaos. Coming back to beautiful grounds, gardens, pool..& all in an historic building. Even a sculpture garden. It was a complete respite. Food and staff were incredible and the property value for money.

The property is beautiful and imposing, the garden is stunning. Rooms are large and comfortable, but a bit austere. The breakfast and the food in Aquarelle Restaurant were very good. The private shuttle boat to San Marco is very convenient and it runs until midnight.

Service is good, but on one occasion they were a bit understaffed at the bar near Aquarelle Restaurant. The minibar could be more varied. Also the side pool restaurant food could be improved.

Fantastic location, beautiful hotel and garden area. Amazing to stay at a hotel, where the shuttle boat was complimentary. We have traveled a lot, and many hotels on islands do not offer the complimentary service.

We had higher expectations for the hotel. The restaurant/bar staff did not seem to be quite informed on anything. We had many experiences with orders that they said was sold old, to find out later that it was not. One day, we waited a whole hour in the Clemente bar, to get served. The same with 2 other couples. After asking for help, we got to make an order, and 30 minutes later, there came another waiter and asked us about our order, because his colleague did not get it in the system. We waited a long a time, and being hungry on an island where there is no other options, is quite bad. We did not want to sit at the bar anymore, so we asked to get the order to our room. When we came to our room, our roomcard did not work, again. This happened several times. We had to go down to the reception several times to get it fixed. We also asked about going to the Murano Island, where we got informed about the complimentary boat to the island, which we were very exited about. We planned it at 2:00pm the day after, and when we came, there was no boat, no reservation or anything. We had to wait almost an hour for the boat. We also did not get informed about the schedule on the Murano island. We thought we would just be dropped off, to explore on our own and go for a lunch, but we came to the glass fabric and had to go on the planned excursion. It was a great experience, if we would have been informed. When we were done, we could not get a lunch anywhere, because everything was closed.
