    Everything was spot on, thanks! All staff were lovely, but a special shout to the 2 guys who helped a few people get their cars off the mud in the car park. (They got absolutely filthy + soaked)
    Although we didn't get stuck in the car park, I think it would be a good idea to put some hardcore down. (More to help the staff than the guests)

    Perfect NY stay
    Had a wonderful stay at this family owned hotel. It had everything l wanted and more. The staff are amazing! So friendly, welcoming and really helpful. The location is perfect, a 10 min walk to the town centre, less than that to see the sea! I would definitely stay again, highly recommended.
    The car park should be paved over. My car and several other cars got stuck in the mud and the poor staff got totally wet, muddy and were frozen helping my get my car out. They never complained and were really lovely about it but l felt so sorry for them and they even cleaned my car afterwards! They went over and beyond on their duty and it was really appreciated.

    We all had a mint stay
    Spotlessly clean and well maintained, food and service was excellent.
    Car park is grass in places and could do with more of an hard surface as cars were struggling in the mud

    spacious room and bathroom. It was clean, good location, bed was comfy with plenty of pillows, extra blanket and a fan in the wardrobe. A lovely romantic feeling room. I loved it! Smell of Lillies when you first enter and the breakfast was lovely

    The cleanliness and staff were excellent. The room was well equipped with a hairdryer, kettle, tea, coffee, and bottled water. The room was also very clean. Breakfast was varied with a good selection, including full English and salmon. I had the full English that didn't over face me and was not swimming in grease.
    My wife would have preferred the bed and pillows to be a little softer.

    Clean and comfortable hotel with a traditional spirit compatible with the beauty of Whitby.
    The hotel is very clean and comfortable. It has the necessary facilities to have a pleasant stay. The age of the building and some of the furniture such as the clocks imbue it with a traditional and intimate spirit. I confirmed that perception when I found out that the hotel is managed by the same family for 4 generations. It is located very close to the seaside and offers a very generous breakfast by very kind waiters.
    The location of the hotel is very convenient if you are making an extensive visit, want to walk along the seaside and get to know Whitby outside of the Old Town. For very short visits it may be necessary to use taxis to get there and leave. It's not far from Old Town but not close either. This detail, however, does not detract from its advantages such as cleanliness and traditional spirit.

    The room Was spotless. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was nice The location was easy to access and was a short walk to the beach. The little extras like the cotton buds, soaps etc was lovely
    The room was very hot. I did try to turn the radiators down and open a window. It was just a tad too warm.
