The White Horse & Griffin in Whitby receives high praise for its excellent customer service, historic building, and delicious food. Guests enjoyed the clean and comfortable rooms with great amenities (Read More). The staff were friendly and accommodating, making everyone feel welcome. The restaurant served tasty meals made from local produce. Despite limited parking, the central location allowed for easy access to all that Whitby has to offer. Overall, a highly recommended stay with top marks.

Great location. Fabulous breakfast Bed clean and comfortable

Room looks a bit tired now. Bathroom looking old and damp on bathroom floor. No hot water to bathroom sink. Lighting to main room is dark. Tatty lampshades

Very grateful to the staff for sending back an item I forgot so quickly.

Excellent location in the old town.

A bit of a noisy boiler in our room but luckily quiet overnight.

Great location and staff, few tweaks needed.

Staff were very friendly, great location, very spacious room and lovely big bath. Breakfast was good.

Room needed a bit of a clean and maintenance. Few stains on the bedding etc. Mattress felt like it needed replacing.

This place is a haven In the middle of town

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had dined at the White Horse and Griffin on the evening of our stay and the meal it was excellent . Top Notch

Very good

Really beautiful, quirky little hotel with amazing staff. Rooms are all named after boats from the area, with the captains name on the door. A lovely touch.

There was a young family in the room above, the young child was running around first thing in the morning which woke me. Old building so not much the owner or staff could do.
