    Very central, big room they provided us with a cot. The A/C was so good we had to occasionally turn it off. Staff was lovely and kind. Would definitely stay here again
    They were booked out for us to stay extra night (not their fault). Maybe a change of towel. Overall great value for money run by lovely kind people

    Im the end we were happy with the stay, supper clean place with a good location
    Great location, super clean and very friendly staff and owner.
    On the app we saw that we would have a refrigerator, sea view, landmark view and garden view. We didnt have the refrigerator and the views were from the terrace not the room. Those things made us think it was a bit too pricey.

    The guesthouse is right in front of the Dutch Fort and you can see the sea from the terrace. The room was cozy, the place was super clean. The Dutch market was a short walk from the guesthouse. I loved staying there and when I return to Galle which i will because I loved it, I'll make sure to stay here. Also a cute dog named Pirate is a bonus.

    Good location in the middle of the fort, close to the bus and train station. Good water pressure in the shower. Possibility to have breakfast for USD 8.
    Very noisy in the morning because of children in the neighborhood. They charged us the service fee of 10% on the top of the price stated in booking.com app. When we paid by card, they invoiced another 3%. Hot water in the shower was available only afternoon, but no hot water after 9pm.

    Simple, comfortable room. A/C was excellent, but mostly I used the ceiling fan. The male staff who was on duty most of the time was very friendly, helpful and spoke English well. The owner was also very friendly. His brother and wife operate a tiny food booth in front of the guest house during the evening with excellent food (great kothu!). You can relax on the terrace and your food will be served on a nice plate. Nice views from the 2nd floor terrace, but you can see beyond the ramparts and out to sea on the rooftop. Cricket games are often in progress on the field by the ramparts. Good wifi.
    The lighting in the room was excessively dim. Could barely see anything in the evening hours. Luckily, I read e-books!

    Just Okay..nothing more, nothing less.
    Location is good
    No view from only window..room felt closed and stuffy..school next door so noise is inevitable. Facilities bare minimum. With price lower than this, i got better deals on this trip.

    Lovely Guesthouse with roof terrace
    We really had a wonderful stay at Seagreen Guesthouse! The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. Whenever we had a question they were very happy to help and give us tips on what to see around Galle Fort. As the Guesthouse is located in the centre, it is easy to explore the city by foot. For further destinations they have a tuk tuk driver just for the Guesthouse who can also take you on day tours. You find the different tours in a booklet which was layed out in the bedroom. What we liked a lot was that you can personalize the tour according to what you like! The driver was very friendly and explained everything to us, his english is really good! Another highlight was the roof terrace! Perfect for watching the sunset! Also, our room was very clean, better than the hotels we stayed in, to be honest :D I liked that you can add breakfast if you want to, this way you are flexible, I can definitely recommend the fruit platter though, it is huge and filled with lots of tropical fruits. Overall we had a lovely stay in Galle Fort and we would recommend it 100%.
