    good location if your looking for an isolated, tranquil, natural (woods and coast) setting.
    I liked breakfast. If I had my chance again, I would have taken more time over it. For example, starting with a pastry or cereal before ordering one of the hot options on offer.
    Could have done with more hooks in the bathroom perhaps.

    Good but could be a lot better
    Nice quiet location close to the sea, the eating areas are nicely finished and good selection of food and drinks. The breakfast was lovely and good value for money.
    We were in the annex, decor a little tired and main front door didnt lock so didnt feel safe. The bed in room 19 was beyond uncomfortable and sadly this affected our weekend as we had a busy one planned with our son and grandson but were just too tired on Sunday to properly enjoy it after a night of limited sleep.

    Warm Welcome at this magical getaway
    This hotel was the best we have stayed at in a long time. We were met with a warm welcome, offered a complimentary drink and the staff walked us up to the room. The room was outstanding, immaculate and clean, the sea view was exceptional , lovely toiletries in the bathroom, fantastic shower the list goes on. Fresh milk in the mini fridge for tea and coffee and hot chocolate on offer. We decided to eat in the hotel in the evening as the menu looked outstanding, the food and the service provided was again wonderful, nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were all incredibly friendly. The bed was comfortable, the tv was a smart tv . Breakfast in the morning was even better than expected , tea and coffee and fresh juice, as well as a lovely fresh continental selection. I had the full English breakfast, and my partner had the eggs royale everything was again tasty and fresh. I cannot recommend this place enough for a welcoming place to stay that offers a personal touch and incredible food. We cannot wait to book here again.

    Great place for a short break
    Loved the room. Ideal for me and my son. The view would have been great but thick fog meant we couldnt see it!!
    Dinner was okay, - the starters were quite good, but I was a bit underwhelmed with the quality of the main course.

    A great place to stay with friendly staff and excellent food.
    The food was absolutely wonderful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were greeted with a complimentary drink upon our arrival, which was a nice touch. There was a good breakfast choice and the food was excellent. We stayed for evening meals and again the food served was of a very high standard. We will point out that we had the Sunday roast dinner and this was the best roast ever...So well presented and absolutely delicious! The location was good for us, with a good bus service into Weston-super-Mare. We also took the opportunity to walk into Weston and that was a pleasant trek.
    The room was comfortable and warm, but the entrance door was difficult to open (on a heavy spring) and the bathroom door was in a very rough state for some reason?

    lovely stay but pre warn guests of parties going on before confirming booking
    right by the beach
    At first our room smelt of sewerage we were quickly relocated to another room which was no issue however there was a christmas party on which I was not informed about at the time of booking and the music was very loud up until around 1am in the morning which caused us to have a disrupted nights sleep its a shame as everything else was lovely about the hotel

    A cold day in a warm and friendly hotel
    The hotel was spotless, bathroom and public toilets exceptionally clean
    Variety of menu excellent but only complain was on our meal (beef brisket and pork chop) the mash was cold but meat excellent
