    The staff at Southwest Inn at Sedona were helpful and friendly. The rooms were nice but slightly dated, with some issues such as the key not working properly and the fireplace staying on after the ti (Read More)mer. Overall, the stay received a rating of 7.9 out of 10. Some guests preferred the Sedona Real Inn across the street for a similar price. The location was good and the views were beautiful. The breakfast options were disappointing for healthy vegans. The rooms had some maintenance issues, but the service was nice and the location was convenient. The check-in and check-out process was unusual but the staff were helpful. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. Some guests wished the fireplace had worked, but the heat was sufficient.

    Absokutely zero bang for that buck. Super disappointing.
    I was floored by the quality of this property, given the $333 price tag. We booked Southwest Inn for a quick visit to Sedona for my husbands birthday. We were checked in via an automated system and had one brief interaction with a staff member when we asked where the ice machine was. We were placed in a first floor room right next to the office with a view of the parking lot. The decor was absolutely hideous a cutout, illuminated headboard, a framed photograph in the bathroom of a woman in a bathtub having her feet licked by a horse, a faux pebble (laminate) floor in the shower. No bath robes, scratchy towels, pretty crummy linens and pillows. The pool and hot tub area was abysmally small, and the property was poorly signed. I considered writing about the inn for the magazine I work for but quickly decided that was a bad idea.

    It was great! I would recommend the hotel.
    I liked the location and the cleanliness of the room. It was located to all the main attractions and hiking trails.
    The cost was a bit high but I had extra points from Booking.com to cover some of the costs.

    Gorgeous property, excellent value
    The room was beautiful - had a fireplace and a ceiling fan. Every room had a little balcony as well. We met the owner when checking out and she was wonderful. There is a pool and hottub but we did not use them.
    I know it's helpful for staffing, but our checkin was with someone remote through a monitor. I found it a bit awkward.

    A perfect setting surrounded by the Red Rocks of Sedona to celebrate a 77th birthday.
    The entire experience from check-in to departure was exceptional. A staff that went above and beyond and a room that ranked number one in design, layout and cleanliness . The balcony, fireplace and one of the most beautiful designed headboards - outstanding.
