Visit Thanh tan for the day, not overnight.

Thanh Tan Hot springs is lovely. the three star hotel is not. the hot springs fa themselves are fabulous theres a two pools and the grounds are gorgeous. its great to escape the city and relax. My Trang from the alba springs as part of the medical supervisory team was so sweet and helpful. Thanh would cleaned the springs each night gave us a mini tour of how it worked and where it came from which we loved. my favourite though was Na from Madame Chau restaurant so friendly and kind. if it wasnt for these amazing staff and the springs themselves we would left early and given 2/10

the actual hotel was not ok. I agree with previous reviews 2 stars at best. I rated this a 6 as we were loved from Thanh Tan to Alba wellness which is a 5 star sister property at the same location. thanh tan hotel is cold, unloved and grimey. its not hygienic. I would not recommend to stay here. I would stay at alba wellness but only for one or two nights not four like we did.

Disaster. Never again.

It is not 4 star - no where near it - 2 star? More like it. For the money you pay, you'd be better off in a home stay for a week than overnight in one of these concrete bunkers. The room was extraordinarily small. The AC took forever to start working properly. The water pressure was gravity fed from the roof without any pressure what-so-ever. The toilet hand spray was so short it made it impossible to use not to mention the lack of water pressure anyhow. The dinner was barely edible, for the money it was pretty poor standard - nothing was fresh and it tasted like pre-cooked and microwaved. The bathroom was filthy, The shower walls had hair on it still from the previous guests and it smelled unclean. The staff were super friendly. Breakfast was the worst affair I've ever encountered. Everything was precooked and cold. The only redeeming features - the hot springs and the bed - large and top quality. Definitely not worth the money. Never return, nor recommend the place to anyone I know. A disaster overnight stay. Wasted money. The manager should be on top of these things with the maintenance and cleaning crews. I'd sack the manager PDQ if I owned this place, otherwise it will become another relic like the waterpark...
