    Very cosy and relaxing, didn't get to experience all that was on offer due to travelling home early.
    Breakfast was lovely and staff were very pleasant.
    Not enough choice for cereal at breakfast for me and I need to have cereal with a meal due to health issues. The breakfast room didn't have a very good atmosphere and was cold (decor wise). The Shower was a problem with the water pressure seemed to be going up and down. The room was far too hot on arrival and we had to switch it off - not good in a time of energy costs rising or the environment.

    Warm, comfortable place to stay for one night en route home.
    The staff were really friendly. The hotel had a lovely homely feel and was a nice place to be. The bar and restaurant were very pleasant and the food was good. The room was small but perfectly adequate.
    The water went off a couple of times in the sink in the bedroom, and with no water coming out of the tap at all. Same happened when I had a shower where the water just completely stopped running. Had to wait a few minutes until it came back on. Not sure if its due to the age of the building or demand on water at the same time across the other rooms.

    Very friendly and helpful staff. All meals were first class and our room was clean warm and tidy.

    Very comfortable and enjoyable stay, with attentive staff
    Staff very helpful and efficient - you felt that they cared Very comfy bed, and luxurious pillows, towels and shower Tasty breakfast, and also evening meal (the duck was enormous!) Location great for the M6 for a break in a journey - and with restaurant on site (but see below) Very reasonable price
    TV didn't work (staff tried to fix but couldn't )- perhaps a larger and updated TV might help? Not ideal if you wanted to be in Penrith itself, as a couple of miles out on small roads

    I may come back in the future be defo not to same room. Cost me 120 to have literally no sleep all night.

    The to remote had no back on it and didnt work although we were going out for the night to a.crhristmas dinner so I can cope with no telly. Bad point was toilet ran constant all night and I am a very light sleeper and was up every hour throughout the night. During the night it sounds louder. I tried to flush it a few times but it just l just came back. We stayed at reigney inn a few months ago and breakfast was superior to ours this morning.

    We will return
    Spacious, comfortable bedroom. Welcoming, well-stocked bar. Sunny conservatory near the bar and restaurant. Restaurant service and food quality and range very good. Home made muesli good.
    Kipper for breakfast too dry and only warm.
