I absolutely love this amazing place. It's like no other, you must see it to believe it, 10 stars all the way, fantastic Tony, the owner, who is so warm and friendly and the lovely Fay , the breakfast is incredible as much tea and coffee as you could possibly drink, nothing is too much trouble, looking forward to returning again soon

The house decor was absolutely breathtaking.very quirky yet beautiful The breakfast choices were great, the owner himself cooked and it was delicious They let us leave our luggage until the evening on our checkout day, which was very useful and allowed us to keep strolling in the city.
    Nothing to not like!

A fabulous stay in a fabulous place. Thank you, Tony.
Room was sheer luxury. Loved the deep bathtub, the entire suite. I loved the Gothic feel of the house plus the design and history. I made some friends during my one-night stay. Tony is an excellent host.
As for value, everything is expensive when traveling and it would be great if the cost was lower but the stay was worth it. I will be back! Thanks.

A truly great little place conveniently situated with friendly staff.
This was the first time to stay at the Covenstead and it didnt disappoint. It was a very unique place where there was communal areas where you could pick a book (they had plenty) and you could take it either to sit in the sort of living room or take it to read in your room though there was a kitchen and sitting room right upstairs, which is where I was staying to have a cuppa which was handy. The breakfast area was one huge table and everyone sat next to each other so very community minded but it worked. I had a full breakfast that morning and it was cooked just right? I cant remember the lady and gentleman running it over the two days I was staying but they were very friendly and any problems they would help though I had none. Loved the view also over the ruins of the abbey, so a very big thumbs up. The covenstead was very conveniently situated near all conveniences of the high street and the abbey entrance and it wasnt a very far walk from there to walk to the Tor and chalice well gardens. I hope next time I visit Glastonbury I can stay at the covenstead for longer.
Though the building was situated conveniently near the high street where all the shops are, they do not have private parking. There was parking outside the place but for only I think it was 30 mins but you could leave your car there all night then move it the next day. I had to park in the main car park which you had to pay for parking during the day but was free in the evening. I believe there are some free parking on some of the streets just up from the covenstead.

    Very good
Great little place, close to Glastonbury town centre and right opposite the Abbey.
Great location, wonderfully quirky. More Dennis Wheatley or Aleister Crowley than JK Rowling IMHO (if you know, you know!) Very interesting :-)
It was all fine for the price paid
