Really slow service, they have these call services buttons by the sun decks and pool beds but they never worktheres no point having them because we still have to get up and find a server.
The beach could be cleaned better, we saw a lot of dead fish so it didnt make it enticing to go in the sea (we just swam in the pool).

The staff was very nice.
Nice view on the beach and surrounding forest.
The food at the hotel restaurant was disappointing.
Western food quality was low.
Malay food was acceptable but nothing special.

Nice stay- overpriced though
Loved the beach and pool! The bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower was fantastic
Overpriced for what we received. Ended up being more expensive to stay here than it was at the Ritz Carlton. Service was slow at breakfast with staff forgetting what we had ordered. Looked like a bit of a dump outside of the resort

Such great value for money, a great place to relax! Not much of a vibe if you want to drink late into the evening, but
Pool is amazing, sooooo relaxing! Service is superb. Amazing pool set up with buzzers for waiter service to your lounger, pool bar, nice towels and not overcrowded.
Just a few improvements that could be made, the hotel is a little tired in some areas, a few really simple uplifts would then make it a perfect place to stay! Sunbed mattresses could do with upgrading, food could be slightly better/ more variety on pool menu. Cushions for outdoor furniture could be upgraded too!

Lovely hotel,nice location but some probems!
The property is in an ideal position if you wanted to relax and do nothing.
The staff are very friendly.
We upgraded our room and the room was slightly dated. The bathroom was dirty. The grit was coming of the bath panel which also formed part of the shower. I cleaned the area around the bath which was dirty. I complained to the management who made sure the bathroom area was thoroughly cleaned. They also provided a bottle of wine by way of an apology.
The swimming pool area was clean and tidy but I did have problems getting a sun bed de to the amount of people staying at the hotel. Small problem as we could have gone to the beach.
Lastly what is slightly more concerning I paid a deposit which the lady who checked us out stated would be repaid within 24 hours of checking out. Im still waiting. I have had no reply to my two emails

Nice hotel if you like malaysian cuisine
Nice and spacious rooms, dedicated staff, superb pool, refreshments at the pool, staff very attentive and looking after guests safety, witnessed one child saved from drowning (careless parents).
Good breakfast.
FILTERED WATER: the filtered water supplied to the rooms was awful, taste of chlorine and off flavors. We were buying bottled water outside the hotel. Water at breakfast and pool bar was ok.
Restaurant TERRACE "ITALIAN CUISINE": six months ago this restaurant was a gem, authentic italian/mediterranian cuisine and top tier, on par with the best restaurants in KL. This restaurant was giving us a break and together with the superb hotel reminded us of vacations on the Mediterranean.
Actually this restaurant is serving dishes best described as malaysian western style, comparable to a malaysian restaurant around the corner serving "pizza", "pasta" etc. The bread reminds me of "Massimo, your italian baker". To keep the same menue (and pricing) as before is over ambitious, to say the least.

The interior deco.
A few staff werent well trained. Request for late check out by an hour was outright denied.
Earlier request for a seat at window over breakfast was outright denied but another guest that came later was given the table without prior reservation.
