The place is not even close to being a "luxury" place. Barren walls, construction on all sides, its a work in progress. No ham, no non-veg breakfast on display, only chicken sausages on order, never heard of Eggs Benedict, "chefs" were not close to chefs, simply cooks from the street. No request gets handled, as people pass on messages, never to be executed, until followed up 3 times, and explained like a child.
The price was twice that of a Marriott in the same city, and it does not qualify as even half of a Marriott or Taj. Really disappointing, big mistake - never to trust photos. Always check reviews (which I didnt) or ask locals. Wanted to suprise my wife with a heritage luxury place, turned out to be a terrible mistake I made.
They do not really understand the concept of luxury nor believe in training their people. For a day, the rubbish on the table was not removed. There was dirt and stuff lying under the chairs / tables in their "restaurant". The place is filled with non-maintained issues - lamps falling, TV not connected, phones not working (they started fixing the outside line then for hours), nails extruding, damp everywhere.. this was an unmitigated disaster. Shared photos with them, some fixed, others left as is.
Certainly, the place has good possibilities, after 1-2 years when its complete and if someone looks into getting competent staff, trained and capable. And if someone decorates the spaces and teaches them hospitality.
I called booking.com, no real help. I will find hotels through friends in new places, and book them directly.
