    Excellent location for us as near family but not sure how good for anyone else
    It is a functional hotel but a bit disjointed. Not a destination hotel.

    Great location. Large comfortable rooms and beds. Breakfast was very good and the large bar area was excellent with good views

    A couple of family days in Whickham
    Professional reception, clean rooms, and comfortable beds. Nice and warm in winter. The bathroom is large and well organised. The bar was stylish and the staff friendly - placed well away from the bedrooms for noise

    Good location for city. The staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent value
    Spacious room, good bathroom, staff, warm, clean, good location for city access by public transport, but buses can be erratic. Value for money!
    Difficult to find way in first time as main entrance appears to be at back where the car park is and by the time we'd located the front of the hotel by road we had passed it and spent some time in back streets trying to find the entrance.
