Poor
Nice hotel location, good food, Terrible night sleep, noisy, uncomfortable and wouldnt return.
The view from the hotel (not from our room) and the food were lovely
The room we had was like a cupboard underneath the stairs, the room its self was very tiny, dated and not what we were expecting at all, the sound proofing of the walls is terrible we could hear the television from the room opposite through our wall, the toilet door was right next to the bed, the bed its self was a very very small double with a uncomfortably hard mattress and uncomfortable pillows. We had a terrible night sleep. The hydro spa area was nice but seamed very unclean, you had to pay a extra 10 for this per person per session where I think this should be included in the price.

Good
Pleasant stay but does need a refurb.
Staff really friendly. Breakfast has a good selection. Christmas decorations were lovely.
In need of refurbishment, particularly in the bedrooms. Tried to book a treatment but therapist nowhere to be found. Reception said they would contact me if they found her but obviously didnt find her. You have to pay each time to use the spa which should be free for guests, so if you go in the morning and leave and go back later you have to pay again. Clientele were mainly retired age, so if youre younger you may want to re-think booking.

The view from the sea view standard double
The bed was 2 singles pushed together, one was slightly higher than the other.
I understand the need for a starlift but it left the staircase rather narrow for those walking up, especially with baggage.
I was surprised to find guests had to pay extra to use spa facilities.
I was aware parking was limited but this was extremely limited.
We were able to park in the one space available initially ( we arrived intime for the earliest option to check in) however, we needed to go to a supermarket early evening and on our return found no available space at all which meant we had to walk around 5 minutes up hill back to the hotel after finding a space all the way down the bottom of the next road along.
We have a disabled badge but noted that the only disabled bay was already occupied.

We had a very enjoyable stay.
The Headland's location is scenic and quite tranquil at night; their Christmas decorations beautiful; with a wonderful breakfast next morning.

Very good
Overall very good and I would book again and recommend to friends & family.
Very clean, nice location and very nice staff. Breakfast was excellent, buffet style with staff in attendance to assist.
Extractor fan was very noisy. I could hear the extractor fans in adjoining rooms when their bathrooms were in use. Loud enough to keep me awake but in fairness, I am a light sleeper. I had requested decaf coffee in my room, both on booking and upon arrival, but this didnt happen.

Relaxing stay in a stunning Hotel
Breakfast was lovely, gorgeous hotel overlooking the sea. Room warm and comfy. Staff professional and friendly.
Bed was a bit hard, so didn't sleep as good as I could have. Door to the kitchen banged constantly, wish they could of padded it out somehow. Banging every few seconds throughout breakfast and evening meals was a little annoying.

Great get away
location was brilliant very friendly staff. Great location for walking, shops down the road.
Lovely Lounging area Seaview and location is breath taking. Outdoor areas are lovely if the weather is right.
Upgraded my room, the receptionist was very kind and accommodating.
It was a nice place to go to just get away as a solo traveller perfect!
The rooms were a little tired, really need an upgrade. Then it would be difficult to find fault.
The room I stayed in was next to the kitchen extractor fan. It had a Partial sea view, but was a bit noisy in dinner service.
Double bed was 2 single beds put together which never works.
