    Cornish History and Charm
    The Hideaway is a great place to stay and has a homely and comfy feeling about it. The fire is a great feature especially as we stayed late October. It's a home away from home with everything you need. The hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area.
    Whilst the stone floor is a nice feature it can make the place feel cold.

    The Hideway is a delightful, comfortable rustic property which has been renovated in perfect taste.
    The detail and effortless style of the property and the rustic charm and authenticity of an historic farm cottage. The bed was possibly the most comfortable I have ever slept in! The quiet location, inland from the coast, was great for visiting the whole of South Cornwall...I managed to see much of the area in 3 days riding my motorbike (so much easier than a car to access the tiny coves), but wished I had booked a week! Falmouth was very nearby for essentials. Oliver was welcoming and helpful.
    Perhaps a new washing up sponge would have been nice and a roll of toilet paper. A quarter of a roll was left from before and didn't last very long. I chose not to spoil the arrangement of 'designer' toilet rolls on the bathroom windowsill! The uneven parking area in front of the main house was a little tricky on a motorbike.

    You could not stay in a more perfect spot to experience the charm and history of Cornwall!
    The beautifully renovated old cottage was completely charming. Every detail had been considered, and we even got to make a fire in the old hearth. Oliver, our host was extremely helpful. Cant recommended enough!.

    A cosy, quaint stone cottage, located in a quiet, semi-remote part if Cornwall.
    Quaint stone cottage with private courtyard and a cosy log burner. Well located as a base for travel to Cornish coastal resorts
    Bedding felt a little damp, but it is a stone cottage so fully centrally heated accommodation was not expected. surfaces, storage cupboards somewhat dusty.

    Beautiful Cornish rustic getaway with cute courtyard.
    The property was lovely with a rustic country feel. Nicely designed interiors and very comfortable bed. Beautiful little courtyard leading to the rental.
    Not much to not like! The property is small but has everything you need for 2 people.

    Perfect size for 2 people.
    Not clean and very damp,the bin inside was filthy,microwave dirty,crumbs still in toaster. The bed has seen better days 1 dirty mattress used underneath the mattress you lie on!There is a bees nest by the bathroom window so opening it to let some air through was a no,told the owner but she just found it hilarious!pre warn your guests!!very unhelpful.Also there is a small step into the bathroom where the floor tiles are higher than landing,no notice or sign so of course I fell!! Parking is on the owners driveway which is fine but not when they let their dogs poo everywhere and they don't pick it up!so you end up having to drive through it,disgusting!!never been anywhere so awful Thankfully the weather was on our side and we got to stay out most of the day. A quick money maker with no respect for guests People work hard to save money for holidays! Free WiFi but you will not get a signal.
