    Good facilities but lacking in service
    The bedroom is well equipped with a comfortable bed and ensuite.
    Staff very rude and uninviting on reception upon arrival. The noise downstairs in the morning can be heard in the rooms meaning we didn't have an enjoyable night's sleep.

    Comfy bed Very clean room A great pub for food and drink with a lovely family friendly vibe
    Walls were extremely thin you could hear peoples conversations clearly and very creaky floor boards. Found it difficult to sleep, particularly when people were coming in late / leaving early. One waiter who served us breakfast was extremely rude and unpleasant - made us feel like we were an inconvenience just being there which was a shame as all the other staff were so lovely Small room although it was cosy so didnt really matter to us

    Stayed here after a visit to Stockeld Park which is about a 5 min drive away. Very handy for Harrogate too which is about a 10 min drive. Absolutely lovely family room exactly as in the photos. Plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 children, very clean and nice decor. The staff were friendly. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and the food was good with a nice atmosphere, log fire etc. Breakfast was delicious. We would recommend staying here.
    Pillows were not great but that might be personal preference.

    Exceptional stay, perfect for a festive stay!
    We really liked the cleanliness of the room and the views out of the room were really nice and scenic. The room was very beautifully decorated and very cosy. It was definitely a really good place to stay over Christmas as it felt incredibly homely. As a side note, we also had Christmas dinner there and it was lovely!
    There wasn't anything wrong with our stay?
