    The Marine Hotel offers a comfortable stay with basic rooms, good breakfast, and excellent service. Some drawbacks include a non-functional lift, limited breakfast hours, and small car park. However, (Read More) the hotel is conveniently located near the promenade and shops. Guests appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms, friendly staff, and delicious meals. Overall, it was considered good value for money and a place worth returning to.

    Generally my stay was enjoyable, except for the fairly cold bedroom and I would return.
    Good variety of food and drink in good location and friendl and helpful staff. Room was comfortable and reasonably accessible.
    Apsrt from the first night, the bedroom was quite cold with radiators turned up full.

    Great hotel! Location perfect. Would definitely stay again.
    Hotel very spacious, staff were lovely which creates a great atmosphere throughout hotel. Bingo & Entertainment very good. Breakfast was nice, buffet style.
    Room was spacious but was dated. We were on 3rd floor, although we had sea view, window was small. Bathroom was ok but again was old and tired looking but was clean.

    Passable short weekend. May stay again but would want a better room
    Good location, and rooms were ok.
    The shower in our room barely worked, it was a dribble of water coming out of the shower, very little water pressure. Also there was no hairdryer in our room which required a trip to reception. Times for breakfast were very short and early, I think it was something like 8-9am which isnt a very good window of time when travelling for a weekend break.

    I would come again. Staff friendly and welcoming.
    Comfortable room, friendly staff. My dog was welcomed also.
    Where we had breakfast with the dog was a bit far away. I had to keep coming and going for the breakfast items.

    Entertainment on the one night
    We had a problem with our room 327 on the 3rd floor . There was no heating in the room it was the radiator that needed bleeding when I reported it the receptionist said she would send someone up we went out and on our return there was an electric heater outside our door unfortunately we had bad weather that tripped the electricity off on the 3rd floor so we had no lights no TV no shower and no heating that lasted from we'd evening to Thursday afternoon . I did ask on the Wed if it would be possible for me to change rooms as I had broken my foot and I was in a boot and on crutches and there was no light in the lift from we'd eve but there was no other room. I had to use the lift in the pitch black to get up to my room on the we'd eve but on Thursday they hung a torch up. So on my 2 day stay I couldn't stay in the room all the 2 days because I Couldn't have a shower or watch any TV or have any heat or even do a brew with no electricity I know it's not the receptionist problem but for a large hotel as it was I would have thought there would be more maintenance to handle the problem. When the maintenance man came on Thursday afternoon it was the radiator that needed bleeding that's all and we could have had heating at least. Having a broken foot and being on crutches and trying to get around a room with the light from your mobile phone was not good .This is a lovely hotel but needs more maintenance men to handle problem.

    A comfotable stay
    I booked 3 rooms for my sister brother and I to visit mum for the Christmas holidays. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the breakfast the next morning was delicious.
    On arrival we waited a long time before a staff member greeted us, there was no sign or bell to ring. We were on 3 different levels, one of us was in another wing altogether. There was no entertainment during our 2-night stay, we chose the hotel as they advertised entertainment. We paid the nightly parking yet still received a parking fine in the mail the following week.
