Great place to stay, fantastic hosts, would recommend

Great hosts and location. Staff here could not do enough for us to ensure our stay was comfortable. We had free breakfast on both days of our stay, which was very tasty and there was plenty of choice. The hotel was very clean and well thought out. There was a bar area, with comfortable seating and pool table. Our room was cosy and the bathroom was modern with a great shower. Location was 5 minutes walk to town and beach. Added bonus was a small car park to the rear of the property. We are hoping to return back to this hotel over the summer. Would highly recommend

There would not be anything to improve. I would just add that if your not good with stairs then ask for a ground floor room, as property is over 3 floors.

Disappointing

The bed was comfortable and the view was lovely

Very untidy and tired looking outside. The carpark showed all the old furniture and rubbish that had accumulated at the back of the hotel Check in was very poor, seemed an inconvenience to them, could be overheard disagreeing on who should deal with us Reception was like a dark cupboard with a little hatch. Whole hotel seemed cluttered. Half a dozen part used bottles of perfume on dresser in hall? Ironing board on landing? Scruffy writing on reception area mirror stating bottles of water 50p? The room was very dated, cold on arrival and not welcoming at all. Very poor attention to detail such as not matching bedding, no proper wardrobe, old towels, dated furniture and fittings and very basic unattractive rollerblinds at the windows

Restful, friendly great food selection and convenient location wise will stay there again

Everything we were made to feel very welcome by the owners and staff. Always checking that everything was good. Plenty choices for breakfast and plenty year. Been going to newquay for years first time at this venue will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing

I had a wonderful night stay. The staff were ever so friendly and very helpful, especially when my daughter and her boyfriend asked to use the toilet when I arrived to check in. The room was amazing. The bed was so comfortable and I got a great night's sleep. I would recommend to people that they should stay there and certainly intend to stay there again. Many thanks for making me feel as welcome as you all did.

A little gem

Excellent location fantastic sized room and very comfortable bed. Great breakfast choices and very friendly staff

The shower kept going hot and cold and the room relied on using the heating through the air conditioning unit and it took a while to warm the room up however when we asked the staff member if we could have the central heating on he was very quick to do this for us.
