Great views of the city from the room
The hotel room was DAMP and smelt very bad. We moved between 3 rooms all of which were the same. The last one was better but still not 100%. They offered a humidifier and I noticed that there were humidifiers in the hallway and guest bedrooms were left open when they were empty to get rid of the smell. I was surprised that the hotel feels comfortable offering these room to guests/ it puts the staff if a very difficult situation. They should not even offer these at a reduced price due to health and safety hazard they pose (I suffer from very mild asthma and allergies and this definitely exacerbated symptoms) The hotel did not offer any type of compensation. It really took a shine off our last 2 days in Vietnam as we had high expectations of that hotel.

I booked a room for my parents as their wedding anniversarys gift and the staff surprised them with a welcome note and champagne on arrival which was lovely. After check in the staff showed us around the hotel and our room which was a nice gesture that you dont usually get at other 5 star hotels where youre treated like a number. We also love the daily turndown service which makes us looking forward to going back to the hotel after a long day. The customer service, deco and cleanliness of this hotel were impeccable. We would definitely come back to this hotel in our next trip to HCM!

Beautiful hotel
Service was top notch, they cleaned the room twice a day, if you needed anything, it was done very quickly. Location is right in the heart of Saigon.
Lovely staff, clean room, can't fault it at all.

I recommend staying at this hotel
I'm a frequent international traveler for both business and pleasure, and I'm also an LHW member (but this time I booked through Booking.com, not LHW), and I've stayed in some great hotels.
The facilities and other aspects of the hotel have their own strengths, but I can't forget the polite and friendly faces of the staff. I even voluntarily tipped the staff at the breakfast room, which is a rare experience for me, and I was happy to do so. I will remember this hotel's unforgettable service for a long time.
I understand that it is on a busy street, but there is a small problem with soundproofing

Utter opulence, old school bling. Fantastic river views from room, fantastic pool location amongst the skyscrapers, staff were exemplary.
Minibar was free, including alcohol, which is a lovely touch - but the fridge was not very good, beer was tepid
