    The Thatch House in Hermanus is a lovely place for a weekend getaway or honeymoon. The staff is friendly and the food is great, although it may be slightly overpriced. The only drawback is slow wifi, but overall, it is a recommended destination for a relaxing break.

    The Thatch house helped us relax and re-energise with stunning natural surroundings and excellent hospitality.
    The beautiful setting. Staff were very accommodating with us and our 6 month old. Beautiful decor.
    We only had a small issue with the air conditioner leaking water meaning we couldnt use it.

    Superb stay in this beautiful, friendly hotel.
    Excellent staff throughout, quality of building, gardens and interior decor, location, food and wine choices, assistance with food allergy requirements. Great bathroom and good beds.
    Only thing missing was a shaving/makeup mirror!

    - Amazing Rooms (Huge) - Great views of the lake - Staff very friendly - Great Interior design
    - Wifi was terrible - very hard to connect and once connected the signal drops off once phone is locked. - Food was ok - considering the quality of other hotel menus at this price I think it could be improved a fair bit. I.e fresher and more seasonal, had the same dish of the day during our 3 day stay and most of the menu pretty salty/our fish main was very undercooked.

    Beautiful property with stunning views.
    Our suite was exceptional, large and comfortable. The staff were friendly and the food was fantastic, the chefs were imaginative.

    The Thatch House exceeded our expectations. I'd recommend anyone looking at this property to take a look at their website for imagery, these do not do it justice! Staff we excellent and consistently went above and beyond. Our only disgruntle is that we only booked for 1 night! We'll certainly be returning and cannot wait to do so.
